TETRA estimates velocity components in three space dimensions from hydraulic head data. Groups of four observation points are connected to form tetrahedrons, and a linear interpolation is used to calculate head gradients for each tetrahedron. Application of Darcy's Law then yields velocity components. The program may be used for confined and unconfined anisotropic or homogeneous aquifers.

TETRA is menu-driven, and the input screens are self explanatory. Results are displayed on the screen or can be sent to a file/printer. The program is distributed on 5," DD or 3+" DD DOS-formatted diskettes containing source code and executable image.
